- The first place to visit in Coorg is the Dubare Elephant Camp, which is located around 15 km from the town of Kushalnagar.

- The journey from Coorg to Bangalore is around 260 km and will take around 5-6 hours, depending on traffic.
- On the way to Bangalore, make a stop at Bylakuppe, a Tibetan settlement that is located around 80 km from Mysore. Bylakuppe is home to a large Tibetan refugee community, and visitors can explore the colorful monasteries and experience Tibetan culture.
- While in Bylakuppe, be sure to visit the Namdroling Monastery, which is the largest Tibetan settlement in India.
